Reader's Discretion Advised

It started out pretty good, but it got to a point where it was just...messy. I think the authors tried to tackle too much and so ended up being overwhelmed by the sheer mass of stuff they were trying to wrestle into place. I got to the point where I got so bored by all of the stuff that seemed like it was suddenly being thrown in that I started skimming.I also feel like the time-travel stuff and the lampshaded grandfather paradox weren't exactly well-explained, though it might have been in a part I ended up skimming over.It wasn't bad, but at times it felt like a rudderless ship in a flash storm...1/8/13 ETAThis review says - well, not ALL, per se, but a lot of the stuff that I had thought but was too busy trying to figure out to actually articulate.
