3.5/5Not bad, though I feel like this book had a lot of potential to go a lot deeper, and so, it remains languishing on the shores of mediocrity. Interesting concept, lightly explored, but no real wow-factor. It was all a little too easy...I felt that Helios' annoyance at Griffon's imprint override a little out of character. Granted, we didn't exactly get that much of a glimpse into his thought process while he was under U'shma, but I'd have thought that he'd be a little more compliant, even in his head. And he dived into the whole idea that he was heir to a throne, possibly king already, a little too easily, imo.
