...this confuses me. So...it's like tumblr...for books?
Either way, I'm mainly on Goodreads. I do occasionally come here, and also do periodically import my shelves from GR here, but GR is a more sure bet for contacting me.
I think the same thing that bothered me about Bound in Stone is bothering me about this.The typical way to solve these "aaaaaaah evil mastermind!" problems in fantasy is you find whoever is more powerful/suitably equipped to deal with the Big Bad. However, in this case, Rak is The Hero and The Obi-Wan all rolled into one. He's the powerful one you'd turn to...except he's so powerless in the face of the "evil."There's more repetitive kitschy awkwardness.And then...absolute power corrupts absolutely. They all can't resist the urge to malign and use him, can they?I wonder what happened to his sutured ass...
