I've come to find that I generally enjoy books written by Megan Derr. The characterization is good and the settings are pretty well worked. (I don't really read for the sex, so I don't have much of an impression on whether there was too much/too little/whatever of that.) Actually, I find that Derr usually focuses less on the sex and more on actually developing the character dynamics, which I think is wonderful.I didn't have problems with the dragons that someone else had. I think Derr is entitled to use her artistic license however she will and if in this particular world, dragons speak in broken English in human form and generally act more beast-like, that's her prerogative.
